Close down the sevrer?

Okay people arn't playing this server anymore. Even people that loved this server in the beginning are foregetting this server now. So who is anyone (besides ash) still playing this sever anymore! There are at least 50 registered people on this fourms, and more than 4/5 of them even play this.

So should we call this quits or try to improve this server?

Either we should just switch to beta, or change the name, make it more appealing. I'll still play, if this computer will co-operate with me on Minecraft classic servers.

This server has great moderation and I still play at least an hour a day. Part of the appeal is that everyone that play regularly are very friendly and the server has awesome potential. However, I agree that the server needs to improve. Our server needs to be more organized. We should put a crackdown on ranks, I have already expressed interest to King in rebuild the Hall of Fame and having a section on the forum where people can give a map name and building description to be put in the HOF. I have also agreed to head that. It would be wonderful if we could find a way to get alot of the ops on and hae a meeting kind of thing to talk about things we can change. I really like this server and am dedicated to it. Please don't close it.

Most of us ops really don't care about this but the economy system was very appealing to guest so here are my suggestions


Get back the eco system
use cuboid limits so that lower ranks can still use like 100 blocks or something like
builder-50
next rank-100
so on

I might recommend leaving classic on for a longer period of time so more people will visit it
Also maybe if it does not pick up in a week we'll bring back the lava survival for a LITTLE time like a week or so

My computer is having EXACTLY the same issue. I want to get on classic and start building with you guys, but my computer can't load minecraft classic servers page. I have been trying for 4 weeks and still have had no luck. The only thing I'm able to do "minecraft wise" is Beta/alpha/1.0. I also am with Joecool on his other statements. Change the name to something more appeling than a name. Nobody searches for a username. Try AwesomeFreebuild W/ranks or something if we continue classic. If full time 1.0 ,Which i hate sayin this cause i got some classic friends (ASHWIN552! lol), then we really should start brain storming some ideas and how and what we can fix on the 1.0 server to make it more fun. If We continue with BOTH ,outcome I like, then we can fix a few things. Maybe bring back events on classic. Have a art competition or something. I've done some searching around and people like Zombie survival the most, freebuild the second, lava 3rd, and alternatives 4th and on. I don't know have maybe a zombie/freebuild server? Idk brainstorm some ideas guys. I'm working to try and get on classic. Oh BTW I NEVER FORGOT ABOUT THE BEST SERVER IN THE WORLD! My add was only cause i felt bad about their server since they don't get a whole lot of ppl playing on it.

Also for 1.0. Someone ACTUALLY made a zombie survival server, where u survive against zombies and have factions. People raid other factions and PvP and Full nighttime. It was pretty cool. Just something to think about for 1.0 server.

Lava survival seems like a good idea just to bring people liking this server
hm the eco part its prob take me a week for me to get it working again.

I still go on the server I had to get the new wom to do so... I still come on it Just you live in america so were mostly on at different times, I know alot of us have gone But Like People are having issues with classic not half the people are on it might be fixed now that the update of 1.1 is out but People still play lava survival ALOT and Im sure people would keep coming back then If they love it.
I like the idea of people using cuboid for limited use's of blocks Although in lava The lower ranks Would have to not have enough cuboid to like make easy houses and the lava survival has nearly the same commands as McForge so thats ok. King You Cannot close the server Remember When I first Joined the server ? it was brilliant we knew barely anything but we carried on through the time and we should keep going if you ask me Thanks Hope you see this!

IMMA BEIN NEW TO THIS SERVER, AND IM ALREADY IN LOVE WITH IT, YA'LL PEOPLE ARE BEAST (and i've already had to deal with 2 other servers i played on closing down)

I play faction servers ALL the time. Come to think of it, the only servers I play on are faction, except one.

Dont close it down it is the only server i play on
