Im trying to open my port because it keeps saying that the port is closed. Its not working so far

1.) run cmd type ipconfig write down your ipv4
2.) go to browser. Type in your default gateway in search bar (also found in cmd). if asked for login its admin and password usually.
3.)Find portfowarding in the network site.
4>)New port, should be 25565 on both ports. type in default gateway for the ip address.
This works for beta, idk about classic.
If you already knew how to do this....sorry.

Ip should e 192.168.0.1[01,02,03,04,05,06,07]. I had the same problem and everyday i had to change the ip adress to make the port open. also make sure is is a TCP not both. public and private should both be 25565, make sure it is always allowed or the box has a check mark in it (make sure it is activeated)

You could try copying the world file and whatever config things you need then deleting the server software and redownloading. Maybe the software youre using has updated? Idk im just throwing out ideas
