when i talk on the server it has a (level) beside my name. I dont think anyone is getting my messages. Whats going on?

Something may have been activated, i'm not exactly sure what it's called, but what it does is that only people in the level you're in can hear what you're saying. Try going to different maps and seeing if people can hear you then.
